Oral Patrick, senior pastor, and Angella Patrick, first lady, are the founders and current leaders of Word of Wisdom Church, established 11 years ago. Oral spent his early days in Jamaica assisting his father, the late Bishop Ranford Patrick, in ministry passionately serving and sharing the gospel. Several years later after migrating to the United States, Oral and Angella were commissioned in 2010 by the late Bishop Zedekiah Mitchell to which the Word of Wisdom Church was founded. Today, the ministry continues to spread the good news of Jesus Christ while serving the community of Teaneck, NJ and beyond.

Pastor Oral Patrick recently launched his first published book, "Restorative Healing Begins With Rest" sharing his powerful testimony of God's protection and healing power after he was terminated from his job in the World Trade Center just one day before the 9/11 attacks. Though his life was spared, he suffered from health difficulties as a result of the volunteer clean up and search and rescue efforts.
